In My Headphones and a Quick Update

So the initial rush of promos for the Resistance release are winding down, and I'm finding myself with more and more writing time during the day... Which is fantastic, although it means you'll be seeing less and less of me on Twitter and here on the blog.

I tend to be one of those writers that needs to shut out the rest of the world any time I want to focus intensely on a project—and right now, Book 3 is calling my name!

For those of you who are still wondering: currently, Book 3's release date remains undecided. As soon as the first draft is with my editor I'll be ready to ballpark a date for publication, but for now it's just too early to say. You'll know as soon as I do, I promise!

In the meantime, here are some of the songs I've been playing on repeat while I work.... More than a few include lyrics that fit almost perfectly with the plot and themes of the third book, but I'll leave it up to you guys to speculate on which songs I'm referring to. :)

Also, at the rate I'm going, I'll need to thank the band KONGOS in Book 3's acknowledgments. (Their album Lunatic has been on repeat in my headphones for days now. I'm kind of in love with it.... You might want to check out the rest of the album, if you like the two songs I included in this list. Just sayin.)
